top one is way cool,. I think it could use a more noticeable light source though, still a very good render. I can feel the pain in your hand just looking at it.

thanks. i took breaks while i was doing it, and the light source changed at different times...

hmmmm the second image looks horrible. my scanner gets stupid sometimes. i'll try to upload a cleaner image later.

Fisrt off cool stuff.
I definately agree 100% with McOtie. I would focus more on shading and lighsources and a little less on detial, 'cause you got a shit load of detail but not a lot of depth.
