that is such a cool style android, i'd love to see you use it more often, but i'm still having the problem with you doing most of your potraits almost monotone, you could be adding some crazy colors to your portraits, i know you got it in you...surpressed.

The eyes in this piece are very striking. To me the eyes are the most "holy" part of human anatomy. When you do them well they can relate so much.
You really did that really well in this painting i think.
Technically you also do the depth of the eye really well, as well as the way the light refracts into it.
Ive been looking at many of your portraits and im really getting alot from them.
Also, the underdrawing is a nice touch...
as for crit...the right eye is a little bodged but im sure you are aware. besides that its a really beautiful piece...

The most wonderful thing about this picture is the fact that it is completely monochromatic but the eyes are blue. Absolutely beautiful in a major way. Best yet.

doesn't it concern you that since you do so many ...that the self-portraits seem disposible?.....all your portraits( as technically done well as they are) seem almost predictable.......the first few weeks I saw your work I was impressed......but now nothing seems to surprise me anymore........in a way....most of the portraits look like you have lost something ...........(you look really tired in the drawings).....and there are times where you smile a little but I still see the fatigue somewhere in your face......
...anyway I might just be over analyzing....
ps...have you found your soul by the way???
Regards
C.

the search for ones soul is not about finding an anwser, it is about living a mystery.
