I wanted to learn how to paint in photoshop and realized that humans are too hard to me on beginning, so I started to paint robots :)

the first four are brilliantly painted, but i cant understand what the last is

hey there! this is a good beginning, you are working with a tablet right?
try to make the background a part of the picture, I think you can develop the gradient fill a bit with just five minutes of brushstrokes, making something, just something with the gradient, there's nothing wrong beginning with a gradient, and then mixing it upp, just for blocking in the colors.
I think i like the third and last one, last one seems interesting I think.
the third one is just.. freaky, and shows some more substancial lightning.
try to work on your values and get a hold from where you want your lightsource.
