This is the company that I am currently contracting for. The team is made up of the 28 former core team members that brought you Medal of Honor, MOH:Underground, MOH:Allie Assault, MOH:Frontline. Very talented, motivated team and great guys to work with. Currently working on a first-person shooter WW2 title for PS2, Xbox, Gamecube called, "Call of Duty" for Activision due out in 2004.

Spark Unlimited, Inc --- Sherman Oaks, CA
SENIOR MODELER / TEXTURE ARTIST

A promising new game developer in Sherman Oaks is looking for a Maya-savvy modeler to create top-quality vehicles for it’s first WWII title. The Spark Unlimited development team is a world-class group of seasoned, talented individuals who have experience working at a wide range of companies and creating some blockbuster hits.

Responsibilities:
· Work with the Design and Character teams to create vehicles and complex props
· Efficient polygonal modeling and texturing, working with Technical Art staff for implementation into the game

Requirements:
· Must have advanced knowledge of Photoshop and intermediate knowledge of modeling and texturing in Maya
· Ability to create vivid, life-like textures required
· Must have significant experience modeling and texturing for a next-gen console
· Desire to work in a team environment and respond well to direction
· Must work well under pressure

Vehicle Modeler job has been taken couple of weeks ago, but now they are looking for a Junior Background Artist.

So if you like set design & handy with Maya (and like World War 2 period European archiecture), definately give it a try. The contact info is the same as the above.

Hi MacJ,

Really nice work, I like you sculptures especially.

You should contact the e-mail address listed above. From what I know, they will be making up their decision to hire this coming Thurs. So, if you are interested definately send your work in ASAP Monday if possible.

My only suggestion would be for you to include a bit more 3D models in your portfolio to show you are quite comfortable with using Maya. Some Environment models will be a plus.
