Great job on her face. I'd suggest to give her shapes more curves though. Right now she's all stiff and straightened out, might want to make her more relaxed and lifelike, as if she were swiming in water for real. The turn of her head towards back is a good start I thing. Might play around with her hair some more too.

I think the pose is still pretty stiff and unattractive. I also think she looks a bit bored. Btw, how did you get that smooth rendering on her skin? Got more close ups? Are you the same yuuki from eatpoo?

its pretty much airbrush and smudge tool- repeat about 100 times, to build it up. (hand is still in early stages)

The shark/whale mermaid will be standing/and or swimming behind the merman. there will be other mermaids swimming around her (this one i plan to be stationary, but i made her less fat in the tail now)

seriously, the quality of the face and the fish part differs so greatly that there's no way this is not a paintover. it's like, cheating. don't do it.
