I think you'll get more emotion of out him if you work with the eyes more, His eyes say "Hurt" and his mouth says "Pissed", try to blend them a bit more. Like the lighting.

The emotion would be more effective if the eyes were flatter; muscles below the eye and on the cheek usually pull skin up towards the eye when a person is angry. The roundness of the eye bottom leads to the "hurt" feeling Inuous mentioned.

Saturated red + saturated green will always say Christmas. Always, always, always.
The color areas don't relate to the planes/forms/lightsource.
