Rascar Capac definately got my vote. Close call though, this has gotten pretty competitive.

i think Rascar Capac had the best piece conceptually, and Chuck,mate had the best executed piece within the parameters of the assignment, but i went with bumskee becasue i can't get over that face. It tottally hypnotized me.

I voted for Rascar Capac. I love the old-photo atmosphere, the face, the composition and the rendering. FridayEve also created a powerful character, and I also considered Jska, Masque, and Bumskee.

though the face is not good (and i say that as oppose to other faces in this round, again - my opinion only),

Close call between FridayEve and Rascar.
But Eve won. The face in Rascar's piece has less drama on it than Eve's face.

I voted for Masque's piece. It really feels like a classic oil painting.

The other two pieces that caught my attention were Rascar Capac and FridayEve. Rascar has a wicked cool speedpaint approach to his piece that I really liked and FridayEve's soldier has a great expression on his face.

Very tough call between Oregano and bumskee, but I went with bumskee's for the same reason as AmishCommy..that face is magnetic. And bumskee also get's points for going with the least obvious color scheme!
