Hi There! 1st Posting...

hi everybody...I somehow discovered this forum and think there´s not only some really awesome artwork but also many usefull tips and lots of inspiration - therefore I decided to join :cool:
I like to draw since I was a little kid but unfortunately I havent´got that much time to improve my drawing skills...anyways, here´s one of my pencil sketches which is already 3 or 4 years old now. The original piece is 50x70cm (should be approx. 20x27"), that´s why the scan isn´t that good (had to scan it with a 8x11" scanner...)
Hope to be able to post some other stuff soon!

the detail is excellent, and I really like the black claws and horns, but the proportions look a little odd. I'm not sure its legs would hold up the bulk of its body.

I like it all the same though :)

yeah, I know what you mean...I always have huge difficulties to get proportions and anatomy right for it needs a lot of practice and studying, I guess..
However, I thought that he may move on all four legs, like some kind of lizzard...he only stands on two legs when attacking someone or something :mischief:
