Afternoon,

Name's Sohmer, of Blind Ferret Entertainment, and writer of www.leasticoulddo.com.

We're currently seeking a comic book artist to collabarate with on a new project we'll be self publishing. If you're interested in learning more, please send me off a note to sohmer@blindferret.com. Will turn into a paying gig.

Thanks folks.

Does it have to be in that style?

Not the LICD style, no.

This new project is a graphic novel, and I'm looking for something batman-esque. The genre is pretty unique, in that it has elements of Superhero in there, but also a healthy dose of real word issues and topics (poverty, disease, terrorism, war).

you are welcome to look at my sketchbook and see if my style fits (signiture). The current sketchbook doesn't show it but I used to draw much more action scenes.

Do you have a sample of the story? Just something short and representive of the comic's uniqueness if you are worried about intellectual property issues. I agreed to do a comic with someone I met online once. However, it didn't get anywhere because when it came down to it, I just didn't like the story very much... So I am not sure how it is for others, but personally I find it difficult to commit to a comic without being as passionate as the writer. I am writing my own comic as well but before my comic-world is fully constructed, it would be cool to gain experience from others as well.
