Here's one of the things currently on the workbench. This is based on Sam Wood's cool illustration in one of the D&D monster books.

When I saw the illustration I went "whoa - I gotta sculpt that!" It's pretty cool. I gotta finish up the hair parts and the base still. But I'm trying to decide if I wanna do the mane as a sculpt or add some crape hair to it.

Thanks for the comments.

excelent work so far and theres nothing to crit really although what i will say next is more personal opinion.

for his ribs in the side bit, comparing the drawing to the model, you need to make them curbe round more and the outer edges of them stick out a little more (if that made sense...)

also his arms/hands. they're very good i won't deny that, but (again comparing to the drawing) they need to be a little thinner and perhaps if you take out some of the curves it will add to the more jagged feel of the creature etc.

oo oo and smaller features on the head etc will make the body look more adult like in comparison and again add to the feel of the creature.
