Looks good -- couple crits.
I like the eyes because they look like Lee Van Cleef's (Angel Eyes from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) but I think I don't like the fact that they're visible. Gives the impression that he's maybe some kind of demon, but there are no other supernatural indications about him....
Also, the gun is spinning oddly - I think it should be spinning towards the viewer, not perpendicularly.

This is the first time I've seen you do digital art, and I'm surprised to see a white background. You usually go to great measures to have completely grey backgrounds with your pencil work.
It's good to see you trying to carry over your pencil techniques to the computer.
As mentioned, I think the gun should be spinning at an angle towards the viewer instead of that straight on side view. Also, the bulge in the right hand pocket doesn't seem to be accurately reflecting his hand in there--unless he's really happy to see someone.

Check out www.gamasutra.com for any job availabilities in the concept art market for gaming. I find it is usually full of opportunities. Also, check out http://garagegames.com as well for indy gaming projects who might be needing a concept artist.
If you do keep the gun spinning in that direction, I would remove more detail to give it a great sense of motion. Nice work in exploring new areas.

the coat seems to be swinging a little unnaturally. I like the face/hat a lot though :)
