Adobe PS 7.0 VS Adobe CS2

Thinking about getting Adobe CS, should I bother or is there little differences between the 2 programs. I do digital painting/Illstrutions.

Do you mean you want to buy Creative Suite 2? That's a package of programs from Adobe, including Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, and some others.

Or do you mean you want to upgrade from Photoshop 7 to Photoshop CS2? In that case, I suggest waiting for CS3.
