dude! Arkady nice chracter!! haha looks like you are finishing something, holy hell!!
One think I would say is his pose is a little funky. I think it would have been better if you put his foot down on the ground. He kinda looks like he's showing off his ass, haha I'm sorry for saying that, but it just does.
Everything else is pretty Darn cool. I love his face. And yeah I think the glow in his eyes is pretty cool, keep it. :) do more of this stuff dude!!

Actually, I was thinking "smolder."
Have little flares in the sockets, and sort of an 'energy smoke' leaking out and getting swept away by the winds.
In my estimation, energy smoke is somewhere between being able to see your breath on a cold day and liquid light. It persists, but the intensity of the light is directly proportional to the concentration of particles. After a certain point, the particles cease to exist, in the absence of other particles.

Or if you've played WC3, just do a replica of any unit's eyes.

Here's waht i'm submitting:

I'm too burned out to work on this any longer. at least for tonight.

Tiff - that pose really bothered me too. I initially had the legs switched but that bothered me more. I hope the med bag was successful in hiding his ass.

Threshold, Stormeh - where you talking about making the eyes smolder? the glowing eyes was a last ditch effort to bring more attention to the dude's face. I guess if i go in and make them smolder it will bring more attention. I'm just not sure how well it will read at its scale.

winjer: I'm totally OK with the medbag.. it's a degenesischaracter... If you know about the degenesis-universe; don't read the following :)

Ya see, the thing is in the degenesis universe there was a big asteroid that basically destroyed earth as we know it. The climate changed to hella cold and so on. The remaining humans have to make do with what they find, and they're no longer aware of what we used the stuff we made for.. i.e. the star on the hood of a mercedes can be found as a holy relic round some shaman's neck and so forth. So there is no telling what he might be thinking the red cross stands for :)

Oh... and AmishCommy: Final looks cool! Really diggin' on the snowy enviro!
And keep the medbag :) I think that is one of the points selling it as a degenesis-character.

peace

nice overall rendering and gesture but the way the sockets are black and the brow seems almost none existant, it makes me feel as though the actual bone structure underneath is non -existant(as though his skull is very thin)...
I know, bloody weired crit, but the face just seems compromised because of it.

very sweet. i'd rather flirt with reds, and oranges as opposed to bluish tints. maybe even purple towards red. the blue kinda melds in with the painting.

apart from that, it's rocking!

Hey Arkady, sweet character you got there, I like the medic/specialforcebluehand thing going on with him. I was just thinking about the pose, you probably already tried this, but moving the foot back and lowering the pelvis might add to the dynamics of his stance? Now it looks like he hasnt really decided where hes putting his weight, it doesnt look "exaggerated" enough.

I also like the powerhand, it really looks like hes clutching somethin etheral yet powerfull!
Cheers Tim
