From that Shania video. The text reads:

As the 'bot strikes the closing doors:
1. The central flight pack pivot fails, sending the assembly rotating forward into the neck region. The wings tear off.
2. Struck by the central turbine, the neck shatters, releasing the head assembly. Jaw pivots fail, and the general impact sends the right occulus flying like a billiard ball.
3. The right shoulder fusion generator mountings fail, sending the superdense unit through the beta-ceramic shell.
4. Gumby has a shitty day.

I was asked to do a detail study of this scene, and I did it at speed. It didn't match the camera angle in the end, but it did amuse (and bedevil) the animators...>=^)

For a second, I thought these were the lyrics to the Shania Twain video, but then my brain started working again.

There's a mind boggling amount of detail for a quick study. I didn't notice Gumby until a few minutes after looking at the drawing.

I'm still trying to figure out what that thing is above the 'right shoulder fusion generator' that says 'BABY' on it. Did somebody drop a Baby Ruth in there?

Gumbys body flying through the air cracks me up!!! This is a wonderful drawing.

This may not makes sense but, I can make out all of the parts that are broken easily, rather than the parts being a bunch of squiggles that are hastily thrown on to represent somthing breaking. You get an idea of where it fit. good job.

man this is awesome! yes it is chaotic but that is what it is supposed to be and i can make out just the right details. it is a great balance of detail inertial impact and humor. i am completely tickled by this piece!

Did you just pull that out of your ass or something. For crying out loud. It is chaotic, the bot is being wrecked. It is a distressing scene. Could you please go into detail about how he could improve on his line weight, instead of just throwing a blind comment out like that.

Excellent work - looks like a freeze-frame from Bubblegum Crisis.

Although the robot animation was cool, I still kept watching it over and over for the outfit Shania was wearing while singing. :D
