People:
I like sketching from life, most of the time I don't ask people to pose for me, I prefer their natural expression and stage when they are not posing... they tend to have a habit-pose they go back to once in a while, even when they are not still.

Paint over study of a photograph, simple practice, but it's some insane amount of time spent for a simple practice...

I like the forest drawing. It's really difficult subject.
Keep posting.

very nice animals. your works on naturasl subjects are far more imprssive than your ficticious ones. i would recommend practicing more on your fake animals. try intigrating what you know about youre animals with new, stranger possibilities. it cant hurt to try.

Speed painting study.
Realized the weakness of the lack in texture and shape. The stone look like wood.

somewhat happy with this one.

The shiny stone is the most unsatisfied, my eyes could see fairies after staring at it for so long.

Nice sketches! The life studies are looking good but I think you need to try to get a bit more structure in them. Try to block things out with simple shapes first (boxes or cylinders) and then move into more detail. Keep going with these though.

To Document: thanks for the advice. I know I am lacking in the structure but had trouble with it.

Nice stuff, I would like to see more studies from anatomy and drawing books, those might help you think about the structures more. I also like the texture on the rock study.

Finally learned the usefulness of using the "eye" measurement. Some of the value is a bit rough... just trying to get the measurement more accurately.

You can tell I have no love for the gun, I don't even know what the heck is going on in the tiny photo reference anyway. -_-b I still don't like the hands.
I will continue to work on this pic.
