This still has to be colored but I figured I'd put it up since my jobs done. Pencils by me inks by Peter Palmiotti.
Cover to Shadowflame issue 1
This is the complete wraparound. I'll post it colored when I get it back from the colorist.

Is this work part of your job ?
the style kind of reminds me of the 70s..

I don't understand the question, but this is the book I am writing and penciling. I have an old-school style. Or that's what I'm told. Thanks for the comment.

That is the old-school style Joe, I likey! Reminds of a bunch of comics I used to collect which is always nostalgic. Ahhh, the good ole days where comics were under a dollar and the ink wasn't cg.
Nice work!

Thanks, Irate!! Some of my major influences(I don't hold a candle to them)are Jack Kirby\John Byrne\Curt Swan\Neal Adams and George Perez. I like some of the stuff that's going on today. I like the computer coloring era but I agree, inks should be left to inkers with brushes and quill pens.
Thanks again!!!

Nice line work. Definitely oldskool! I personally preferred comics before colour. With the exception of Bisley, Fabry, MacNeil amd Gibson.
Although your colour version is nice.. I prefer the B/W version.

The only thing that I could see that is bad with this is the main tombstone, it looks like its flat, but it is at an angle. Maybe my eyesite is wrong or something. Also, someothing about his arms doesn't look right, probably just me though. Well, aside from that, I love how it looks, just love it. Really makes me feel anticipation for the story inside the comic.

The layup is a bit too much "50's science fiction b-movie" for my taste, but it looks good.
I don't know what your inker has done to the blond guys cheek but it looks really strange.
There is also something weird going on with his upper lip.
