What happened to the images in my profile?

I just noticed the images in my profile disappeared. I thought that my photobucket account had collapsed or something, but no.

Also, what is a referal? (that thing in the users profile)

Don't know about the images, but 'referral' uh... refers to how many other people you have referred to CA.org - i.e. when new users sign up they are asked if they were directed to CA by a particular pre-existent member.

I also noticed that some users had no gladiator level.

its a matter of getting the new tech installed and such...we are in the midst of switching to our old hosts and the database is being transferred. i believe it is a conflict we have with the new version of vbulliten. things are being sorted out. we have capable peeps on it.

not to mention the new goodies being added. the brand spanking new main page, the im, and some other goodies will be launched in days. barring natural disaster of course.

Do you get anything for referring people to the forum? Back in the old days of Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) they often had hidden sub-forums. Only special people, who received or accomplishment some task, got access to these sub-forums.

You were probably trying to get to "www.conceptart.org/" which is down, you haveto use the address "www.conceptart.org/forums/" directly. My bookmark was for the homepage too, so I didn't know the forums were still up yesterday.
