Griffon rider

Hey, ya'll.

Just wanted to get your feedback on my griffonrider. I did this for a book I've written that's kinda like Dinotopia--lots of cool worlds, predominantly visual, simple story. This is a soldier from an oriental-themed city. They dress like samurais and ride griffons, and follow the tradition of an ancient hero. You can read the story at www.rsad.edu/~jmartin/Thesis

Oooh pretty colors and a good concept too! One little crit, watch the back leg closest to the screen, it looks a little off, might just be his foot holding on to the roof. X.x It's is a really nice piece, I really like how the rider's spear goes over the border, it gives it deapth along with the shading/shadows you used. Good job!!! :)
