nice work here. the girl's hands on the left doesn't seem graceful enough, the form seems labored. the shadows on the soccer girl don't seem well designed...they are more of just fuzzy dark shapes near the bottom of her form. they don't imply any kind of surface.
fun stuff though, just somethings that can use work. soccer girl's hair is great.
keep posting!

wow you've got clothes nailed, yes I'll mention the soccer girl too, at the very top of her head on the left it seems awkward, but I like all of them...waiting for more

Thanks for the replys guys and advice. Heres something I have been messing with, I was just focusing on a sort of inking style using a harsh brush in PS with 100% strength. I kinda like working this way cause it forces me to really think about whats going into the image rather than just washing over stuff with a colour.
The character is the same one as the third image in my first group of pics, I'm thinking of creating this character in 3D.

Something I was messing with today. I am very new to colouring, sort of dont have a clue I think when I look at some of the people here in the forum.
I gave up at this point, sort of ran out of steam! Any C&C welcome.
Cheers

the clothes are good, though i would have to say that aside from the first two girls, the rest of them look rather flat and out of focus. personally, i like the first girl the most. The folds in her clothes and the shape of her body and head are very good and in proper proportion. the deep blac line surrounding half of her right index finger could be slimmed down abit to bring a more ellegant, feminine appeal to it, but other than that i have no complaints. The soccer girl, also, is nice, though i see the awkwardness that has been pointed out about her head. a little flat of a scalp, but a greater colume of hair in the wind would do her well. these are just obversations. take them how ever you will. but, either way, these are, in general, quite nice.

Thanks for the Critique Azeira. You mentioned my art looked out of focus, I'm not too sure what this means could you explain and maybe give ma any pointers. Your right about the right hand on the first girlie pic, i got lazy and didnt want to return to it! Anyway thanks for the interest!
Heres something I was working on. The image was an attempt to portray a character I had in mind with a magical suit. I didnt finish it though cause I have lost interest in it and was starting to feel swamped.
C&C Welcome

hey man awsome stuff
nice drawing of the girls, and i like the graveyard pic, you should put in some zombie body parts laying all around like she just got done slashing the bastards to pieces, some huge blood spots on her
for the armed man and woman, thesre are some basic things that the image went wrong on and lost your attention, the girls head is way to big for the body and takes the role as the focal point, on top of that her face is nor really interesting, give her some hair and a helmet
give the guy more combat theme, and a vest or something
for the colors, the backround should be changed
make it a swamp or inside a spaceship that is up to its knees in swampwater
grab a soft brush turn down the opacity and tolerance to give a nice smoke/mist effect
for the maqic suit I couldnt tell he was flying high, it took a while to figure that out, the backround does not compliment the character
it lacks depth and a good idea of citiscape
hope you got something out my comments
love the last one, no complaints
I like your style
can't wait to see more

BAKI - Thanks for the great critique! :) Yeah putting some zombies in that image would of been nice, I never really thought of it at the time!
Your right about the armed couple, I had similar remarks from some friends, I'm not really gonna bother going back to it I prefer to do something new!haha
I will at some point do another rendition of the suit character cause hes one of my babies, I have some good ideas for him so hes staying around! Flying high will be the buzz word on my next image of him!
Glad you like the last iimage, I enjoyed working on it too, sort of figured out a few things which is always good!
Wildstyles - Thanks man!! So good you had to say it twice! :)
Heres a new piece I was working on, another girlie inspired pic, the idea was a girl eating pizza after a hard saturdays night of dancing in clubs and such! :)
C&C most welcome.

My only crit would be to work more on your rendering. Make things more clean, show clearely from where the light comes from, and make the shading lines more consistant.
Anyway, your doing some cool stuff ! :)
