hi guys. here's a piece where i focused on perspective. apart from that it's my first try with painter 7 (coool software).
i think the perspective is ok. i took cooler colors for the background and warm colors for the center of interest to get a complimentary contrast.
now i'm not sure about reflections on the walls concerning the fire circle, because i think there could be only some at a higher level, which means a greater distance...so i wonder if there should be reflections at all.

Nice :) I noticed two things a) the oval pit with the orange glow looks a little bit odd shaped b) maybe use some orange elsewhere in the pic or expand the glow a little perhaps. Good job.

yeah you're right with orange. i thought the pit must look a little bit stretched, due to the perspective (but i might be wrong as well :) ).

that looks cool man. the only thing is, it looks like the orange hold is jsut kinda *plop*. i think it would fit more if there was more shadow on the side of the hole that we can see. because it looks like the light is coming from waaay afar. the shadow would make it look more realistic, i think. :chug:
