Greetings. Quanta Perennial is a start up production company based in NYC. Our first project is an animated fantasy series entitled “Ether.” We’re planning on launching a short film series via our website early in 2006. Our hope is that this short will lead to a full blown televison series in the near future.
So what’s the job? We’d like to build on our material for both the website and prospective pitch meetings. We need a freelance concept artist who can do the following:
-Concept Art: 10 full colored scenes that feature multiple characters w/ prior design. An organic style utilizing rendered light and shadow is preferred.
-Format: Digital-Photoshop or Corel Painter. Painterly digital, that means no line art, pixel art, or collage. Nothing wrong with those, just not what we're looking for.
-Size: Large format/ Hi-Res Digital, no fixed aspect ratio.
-Payment: A small percentage up front, with lump payment upon completion or polish. The artist may receive further payment should the series be optioned or a possible salary position if the series is picked up.
-Further Details: The artist need not be based in NYC, telecommute fine pending portfolio approval.
Check us at www.ether-tv.com (http://www.ether-tv.com) (currently under construction).
Check www.ether-tv.com/sketches (http://www.ether-tv.com/sketches ) for rough sketches of the scenes.
Please send samples and quotes to art@ether-tv.com. I hope to be in touch soon.
Many thanks...
