Hi,
Im currently using Photoshop 7.0 and I was wondering if Photoshop CS or CS 2 are better than 7.0. I've heard there is not much difference but I thought I'd ask you guys as you know more about this kind of stuff.
So what's better in Photoshop CS/CS 2?

Thanks in advance

If painting is your primary purpose with Photoshop, I'd suggest you wait for CS3 to come out and then buy that (unless if it's worse than CS2, which I doubt will happen). CS and CS2 have a number of fairly minor features that are great to have, but overall not terribly impactful on your painting or drawing. The brush engine is the same in all three versions, and that's the most important feature in painting.

If you use Photoshop for a wide variety of purposes, you might consider buying CS2 now. It's really up to you. If you're feeling a little tight on money, just wait for the next version.
