Hi, it's my first foray into the world of CA, a world I have long feared and admired. I still think it's premature for me to post any work here thanks to my inate inferiority complex, but due to the urging of CERTAIN individuals, who shall remain nameless http://conceptart.org/forums/member.php?userid=28176 , I've decided to go ahead and join. I'll start out by posting some older stuff from my senior year at Columbus College of Art and Design.

I haven't sat down and done a particularly detailed piece in a while. here's some of my more recent stuff that hasn't been related to my online comic.

http://www.noneedforbushido.com/images/ssart/minotaur.jpg
http://www.noneedforbushido.com/images/ssart/lingeriegirl.jpg

And some simpler stuff...

Well, I guess that's enough stuff for a first update. I'll admit that my stuff isn't the most detailed, and I really need to work on adding more backgrounds to my floating figures. I also have my screen res set to 1152x864, so I'm not sure if some of these images are obnoxiously large anyone viewing with a lower res. ANYway, I'm totally open to comments/ criticisms.

Welcome, no need to be so intimidated, you have a fine set of work going for you. I am not the best suited to coment on the digital works but you have a good sense of movement and dynamics from the look of it. So I dont have my entire head up your ass the only thing I would like to see is something that was not touched by a computer, just scanned, other than that very nice.

Some nice designs, colorversions could need a bit more work and maybe anatomy too.
Post more:)

Welcome to CA, you've got some really good work in here. My only crit is just personal preference, and that is that some of the earlier illustrations have a really pastel look to them, I would saturate a few tones and add a few brighter highlights for contrast.
Definitely want to see more!

the western one and the samurai figure w/ the sword stand out as being the most loose and expressive. though imo you should tilt the sword more away from us to add some depth.

great stuff here, look forward to more

Hey, nice stuff going on here! Post more. The only thing I would say is that, on the pic of the guy in front of the robot, all slashed, the cuts on the face and shoulder, they look more as if he cut the paper, rather than the surface of those areas.
