Hi, these are some environments I did at school this term.
First three images are from Adv Entertainment class. Script was given and I had to describe what it said.
The last one, I just wanted to try a pure landscape piece.
Crits or comments are welcome. Thank you. :)

Hey Yoon82, awesome stuff. I remember seeing them at the Super Thursday presentation. Absolutely fantastic! I also remember your @$$ kicking character designs too. That Samurai guy u did is the best. Dude, those presentations always make me desperately want to go to Art Center.

Btw, what version of Painter do you use?

Awesome work, please keep it up!:D

If Art Center can make you to draw and render this well, I'd mortgage my soul and enroll in a heartbeat. I'm sure yoon had a lot of talent going in.

I really like the lighting and mood in 'consultation room'--it looks like a place you don't want to be in for any reason, even a consultation.

I like the waterfall the most especially quite and peaceful ones and you protray it very nicely. I find that "Arrival" seems not that strong in terms of composition compare to the rest, perhaps putting it in a more perspective view will make it stronger.

Hey I saw these in person! I was at Art Center picking up my portfolio and didn't realize it was Super Thursday, so I wandered around. Of course, since I'm interested in Entertainment Design, I lingered around in that room most.

I loved your concepts, very nicely rendered. I think the right amount of contrast really makes a difference, and your rendering have it. Awesome stuff. You've definitely got what it takes to work in entertainment.

Keep 'em coming!

Can you tell us anymore about the story?

Hey Yoon I have been thinking about the art center myself but first want to get a couple of life drawing classes out the way. How much did you go in their knowing? Do you have a before and after art center drawings I bet this would help a lot of us out. Just to figure out what to expect or how much to prepare for. I hope you get this e-mail and even more hope that do have a before and after set of drawings that you can post. Did you take other art classes before you attended the art center? Oh yeah before I forget your drawings are killer man. Keep up the good work.

Thanks

Amador

the light in the second and the fourth is very well rendered !

We really have the feeling to be "in" the pixture.

For the fourth one I think the big rocks on the left, break the peaceful feeling of all, perhaps with less hard edges it could be softer.

Great work and technique.
