The first one has good brushwork and confident strokes while the other one in my opiniong could use some more blending on the chin area.
But hey for a first attempt your doing pretty damn good so keep it up !

Wow that last one is disturbingly nice. I don't use painter, so i can't help you there, but the although the one with the vanmpire(?) is nice, the lighting seems a bit inconsistant. The metal is glowing with relfected light, making the rest of the scene look dull in comparison. You need to look at how your lighting will affect the whole scene.
Enough nitpicking though! Post more!

fantastic work with the facial hair. the parka hood is quite messy in stroke, but the face holds a very delicate, very real quality to it. now, it may just be my eyes, but is his head at a pivet? it seems like the face slants to his right, and once noticed its rather unsettling.

Really nice stuff. I just started using painter, and I'm getting better as I go.
I do have some crits on the last one. His right sleeve seems unfinished, and it doesn't really match the quality of some of the other parts of the piece.
Also, the shadow stops abruptly when the wall starts, but it should continue onto the wall.

Not fair! Improving so much in such short a while!
This last creature: Amazing colors!
Some of the things to fix on the Dsg with antlerspine is the hair, it could be spread out in a more dramatic way, and the top of the antlers could use a little rework. Except for that... It's awesome! Really well done! Looks friggin realistic! Meaning, it's completely believable in my eyes.
And the painter you are going to use for your website is kickass! So keep it up! :)

seconded this (die Jer0-gast heeft zo gelijk-lol)l;
You should definitely go all traditional again(acrylic, oils-I know you'd like it, and the old school pencils to study your anatomy -although you doing great already. What I wanted to say is, buddy, keep PS/Paintering too, well at least a DSG sketch once in a while. Stay in the flow. Takeme for example (haha): I most of the time paint digital, try to make a sketch a day (digital or traditional) and sometimes work (or start a new)on a acrylic painting (this weekend start to making a dope(hopefully) oil self portrait (BIg canvas)...Anyway try to keep doing it both but also take your skecthbook always with you doesn't matter were you go (the pub, the park, going to school). You already know this right? True, but just a reminder (ouwe gek)..:P
About one of your latest pieces (the fish-dragon?). This is definitly a sign of hugh improvement. I personally think it's your best piece ever along with the paintguy (wich you spend-I thought- a hell of a more time on, so I go with the creature :needle: )...*hands down*
I don't have anything to crit, I shall try to stare a little more at it. One thing that keeps popping in my mind whan I see it is the 'shing-top-of-the-tail' in comparisment to the rest of his body's shining particals (the yellow/orange highlightings on his body)...the top of the tail gives a nice warm glow in the darkness(reflects in the air and on his body) while the rest of the glowing elsewhere doesn't REALLY glow on the skin wich I think should do (giving the very high contrast in the darkness)... <--maybe something to check out...
Nothing left to say; gotta draw myself now. Your Rockin'!!!:blahblah:

Thats a very cool start page i wouldn't want to click any other way. You definitely have a vivid imagination, that girl lying down with the antlers coming out of her back is beautiful. Id say some of your work becomes flat like the bats eyes, thats all i can say because it is all really good. Id like to see what s next keep drawing yeah work on drawing you can never do enough of that. Just don't worry so much about improving because if your practicing every day your improving every day, its when you stop is what keeps you from learning. Sometimes you get burnt out alittle so don't force yourself to do what you don't want to do

Augurkie mama is one of the most useless creatures that exists.
The only thing that Augurkie mama's do is sit, sit and sit. They just look around untill they die.
When a Augurkie mama is at the end of her live, they will produce a new Augurkie mama.
The baby has grown in to the red behind. When it gets older it will move to the belly and waits untill the mother die's. The new Augurkie mama will exit true the belly button of the mother. Then he sits and wait untill he/she can produce the next generation.

Firass (pajaro ignis colossus rectum) is a bird like creature, scientist resently discoverd that this creature is the immediate decented of the legendary Phoenix. Know by his rivals for his fierce and most deadly weapon.....his ass.
The Firasses are banned by the local inhabitants to the mountains because of there tendensie to burn everything that is in there immediate surrounding. They are not aggresive creatures but they have almost no control over there gasses that are highly flammable, the fact that they only are interrested in a plant called the Chillyplant ( plantus verius hottus) does not help. This creature hasn't a long life perspective because the continusly burn infections make him very weak against bacterias.

Well... I'm not sure. They added some new stuff, but I won't know that until next Tuesday. Then we (3th years) get information about the directions we can choose in the fourth year, so...
But I'm doing Media Design aswell! Is it that hard that you had to do it twice?
