This is my obligatory first post with some various pieces I've done in the past. I'm an Industrial Designer by vocation, but my education consists of comic books, movies, video games for the most part.

Nic e. I especially like the guy pointing. Your poses look a bit stiff especially Batman and the one above it.

I think I have this innate reasoning that makes me draw people as if they were really robots--so all the figure work I do ends up looking a bit stiff.

Or maybe it's just my inherent distrust of curves. I don't know. This is something i struggle with--static looking poses.

I'm more detail oriented than gesture oriented--which is probably something I should work on.

You might consider purchasing Poser. Position the character how you want them and then draw from that.

I use it occcasionally when I am having trouble with a pose or perspective, I can set something up in ten mins with it.

Or conversely, take a ref shot with a digital camera.
