dick, the largest main war was ww2. it produced the most media and the most memories. Movies, comics, cartoons, video games and much more are still effected by the WW2. I would say 70% of war art is from the time of WW2. It's the largest thing germany is known for, next to chocolate, illegal weed and kmfdm/rammenstien to foreigners.

anyway, prometheus and stikler, nice attention to details with the iron cross... i forgot to draw in the golden eagle on my guys breast patch, because wll id need a reference to do it right. so i PSed it in.

i drew this in 2 breaks at work, so about an hour. BUT i had to endure the "im a stupid person who is going to guess what your picture is every 30 seconds" who asked "is it a surfer?"
