Wondered if I could pick up some feedback on this pic of my grandfather.

I did it pretty darn quick but it's definitely still overworked. I gotta keep doing this so I can capture more with fewer strokes and less attemtps to fix mistakes.

Too much fixing is pointless; better just to start on something new. I'm not doing any more to this one.

its pretty cool,, but because of that texture u used, i can not focus on the image. otherwise its cool.

did you scan in that texture? or is there a filter or something for that?

No scanning or filters, the texture comes from using one of the preset brushes in photoshop 7.

I'm surprised at how convincing this pic is a non-digital one given that I've never really tried to add texture to my pics before until recently and given that I just used one standard preset brush.

I kinda like this pic.there's quite a good likeness to my grandfather, too.

Anyone got any more criticisms or compliments of the picture itself?
