The RedMist Castle Project is seeking a freelance landscape/environment artist.
This is a paid position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with a firm grasp on environmental effects and lighting, natural landscapes and man-made architectural design, specifically medieval/fantasy/alien designs. Positive attitude and solid communication skills are a must. The artist should be able to produce digital illustrations similar to the samples shown below:

About the project: The RedMist Castle Project is a fantasy worldbuilding project. We are a small writer's group looking to bring the world of Terrin to life through our stories and online "source book" articles similar to WotC's D&D campaign settings, all coupled with your artwork.
So, interested? Send an email to Timothy Gulics at caerdwyn@redmistcastle.com with the subject line of Environment Artist Position. Please attach samples of your work (no more than 10 megabytes, please) and/or a link to your online portfolio. Also, if possible, please include your rates for work similar to the samples provided. Or, provide your hourly rate an an approximate number of hours pieces like these would take to complete.
PLEASE EMAIL US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD.
Soon, we may also have an opening for a character/creature/prop artist. Again the focus here would be medieval/fantasy. If you have samples of your work in this area, please include them in your email.
All applicants will be considered during a review process. This process will be ongoing as applicants contact us and should end on December 31st 2005. This deadline is open to extension.
