PLZ i need suggestions for mediums ( pencil or pen )

oka so if any one knows any mediums i could use for pencil or pen alkike.I would want to know im only a young teen so i need something thats going to last i give me the results i want so if u have any recomendations i would love to know.Im mostly in to pencil so i would want to know about something a little bit darker to give it that kinda of look oka thxz

well I think the easiest pencils to use range from hb to 8b. A cheapass ballpoint bic pen can make pretty nice images too, but I usually prefer a G2 black gel pen. Those are nice pens.

How about switching back and forth, you don't have to stick to one.

How about just using all art tools and not getting married to a HB pencil? Besides, you are a free spirit, you would just cheat on that pencil anyway. Don't get tied down, use them all.

yes, experiment.

If you wanna get darker in pencil, use softer graes like 6b or 8b. Having a bunch of different grades in pencil is like changing gears in a car.

Pencils, pens, markers, charcoals, paints, blood....(yes blood)....I agree with Blue....use em all.


If you're looking for something just to sketch with....well....use em all and see what suits you best (technique, size of sketchbook, cost, ease of use and so on). Everyone is different in pereference.

experiment with any mediums you can and you will find that you like certain brands, mediums, style better.
