I just felt like drawing something that hides in the water. I pictured this thing doing the whole aligator thing, holding still until something yummy comes along and doesn't see it. It'd have moss and stuff growing on it sometimes, and maybe look like a stone or something in dark water.

hahaha. this is superb. my only suggestions would to make some more water effects in all that lower white space and push the design of your fishies more. they seem too realistic as compared to the water hag. otherwise fun piece, good concept.

Great! Can picture the situation clearly :D.

I agree with Apollo about the white water. I think I personally would have made the water more dark, a more eerie feeling maybe... But I like it!

ubernice idea !!!! Im wondering where his or her or its mouth is or could you draw the creature when its eating that (POOR FROG!) frog so that we know the physicues of the creature more well I also feel like Apollonuevo that this could look the bestest ever with equally complicated background but the design of the creature is really nice itself

thanks guys =] The mouth starts under the eyes and remains under water until a strike. I might draw it more later to expand it. I'm behind on commissions right now.

Great, its ugly (as in the creature, not the work), but its cool.
