anyone who speaks dutch/italian/french who's thinking of buying painter IX?

hey, i won painter IX at the prague workshop as part of a raffle. there were 4 copies. only trouble is i got a version with dutch, italian and french, but no english. i emailed corel to ask if i could swap (i havent installed it) but they said i have to "contact the workshop"! i pm'ed jason but no reply. i doubt theres anything he could do anyway, guess it's just bad luck for me ^_^

so, i guess i have to sell it and then buy my own english version.
if theres anyone thinking of buying it, i am going to sell it cheap.
here is painter IX on amazon.co.uk (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00030CBXQ/qid=1130587772/sr=2-3/ref=sr_2_11_3/026-7829529-0451632), and its £271.99 (€400) which apparently is allready a saving of 7%. so, im willing to take offers, but i think i will go for £190 (€279) which is an extra saving of £82. its in perfect condition, the only thing i did was take the see-thru plastic cover off. everything else is there. i haven't installed it.

that really strange that you cant switch languages. I already have IX in english so i cant help yuh, but if you cant find any other solution, try eBay. :)

im sorry to hear that man. its ridiculous that you cant trade this in. you will be taking a loss after all. i do speak dutch but i never use a dutch software version. i personally just dont understand the translations.

your offering a great deal though man. who ever would need it is lucky in my opinion.

have you tried ebay or something you might get more success there, or something similar, but research it first, i really have no idea.

well, i tried ebay, had it on there for 10 days, and nothing!
im not gonna try again, it costs £6.50 and im poor as fuck right now, i need to save all the money i can.

... i guess i should just chuck it in the bin or something...

I know it may not be perfectly legitimate but as you obtained your copy legally you should be allowed to do this.

Go looking for a patch that add's the English language, normally to be found when a person may or may not download a copy of a program from the internet but have done it in a language not the same as their's.

I'd just chase up Mr.Manley/give him a few days to get back tbh.
