Been a while since I've posted. I'm just amazed by the talent here. There's been some really great looking work put up. You guys rock.

Here is a sample of a series of sketches I did last week. Ball point and Marker sketches. I sat on these after I found out I was to visit the Skywalker Ranch. Did 21 in 3 nights. I plan to color them soon enough. Although, I'm not sure whether I should complete coloring them using Prisma colors or do it in Photoshop or just leave them at that.

Your suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks.:)

Your sketchies are intreging. I like the general look of prisma when it is done correctly and not overdone. And these are not overdone.

As for the individual sketchies thenselves, they are very well done as well. I cannot see anything visably wrong with them. Reason being is that they are as what they are.

Conserning colouring...you should try it out. See what you like. I'm sure some of the sketchies would look better coloured digitally than with the prisma ( directly talking about the 4th piece. If this was digitally coloured, it would give it more justice).

Keep these coming, they are splendid.

Thank you so much you guys. I'm glad you liked them. I will post up the other sketches too, soon after I scan them.

Jar: I'm glad you didnt find them overdone. Sometimes it is hard for me to decide when to stop going further. I went by to your site. YOu've got some really awesome work up there. A nice distinct style and strong colors. Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Yaseck, Thanks man. ;)
Loga Ditto to you :D
Carlos and to you sir.

Phalanx, I dont know if I got you right, but were you referring to sample ink work for coloring?

Davi, If you do need to color any of them, please feel free to do so. Infact, I could put up some more work and have anyone interested to color/paint them as they want and have a small lil thread going to see people's different styles of coloring/ rendering. It's just an idea. It would be interesting to see how a standard piece of work would be handeled by different artists.

Fozzybear, Thank YOu so much . You are really very encouraging. I see your coloring has come looong ways. Your work is looking really good Fozzy. Keep posting. :)

Hey Lobo,

These are good I like the colored bug and the first one the most.

maybe a little variation of line thickness of the outside contours would make your form that much more believable.
It can be a slight variation but just enough to bring out the subtle curves, and impressions.

Thanks alti & Killingpeople.

Targete, I fully agree with you. I should've played more with the lines and their varying thickness. Thanks for pointing that out. Very valid comment. The colored bug was a first time. I think I enjoying the use of colore markers now, and will try and experiment with them more in future.

Here are 2 more sketches from the same series. :)
