this is hoped to be an illistration of an oragnic mech pilot. he will be the driver of an old creature concept i did under a year ago.

i mirrored the chest and shoulders to same time. using photoshop7, i am using a different asortment of brushes and the smudge tool.

no offense to mad monkey, but i played around with his hood cloak thing.

it looked more like skin, which is kinda cool. he is an "organic mech piolt" after all - that sounds so rediculous. i even conjured up reasoning for him having a skin cloak .. ill spare you the details.

Ooo, squishy. :) That's an original design, I dig it.
What is its form of locomotion, does it fly, swim, walk? I think you're on to something pretty cool here.

i am using the character for a school assignment. :o that way i am forced to develop the idea more.

its hard to tell in this picture, so ill explain it a little better. calvis01 is an organic machine. it was to be my monster that battled in the thunderdome2. in that thunderdome, the setting was set in post-apocalypse. i havent conjured the universe for the pilot and mech, explaining their existence and aspects of life and story. all i have is some far-fetched, interesting concepts.

calvis01 is designed after a centuar, the mystical half-horse half-man beast. its designed purpose, was to be used as a type of mechanical armour that maintains itself (so that a pilot could live in it and it never broke. i wanted the pilot to seem like a futuristic cowboy) the armour heals itself, uses sophisticated computer - organic systems, and whatever else that made sense and was cool.

the armour has four arms and four legs, ill probably change the design around to make it cooler, make more sense, or whatever.
