huzzah!!!

last night at the Society of Illustrators in NYCa bunch of us CAers came out of hiding and had a real good time sketcheing the Coney Islang Sideshow Performers. To all those who attended post your sketches and pics of the raucus here and make everyone who missed out jealous.

I have posted it in my elf thread but since you are makeing a thread dedicated to the freak show i will post my stuff again. :) It was a good time, sure was. you folks missed out. there was sword swallowers, a dove tamer, and tattooed people Galore. :)

im going to post mine over the weekend but, they wont look like what they looked like when I sketched them.. Im trying to make a real drawing out of them cuz I kinda like the comp.. Great work Amish.. i really like those watercolors... where the hell are dans drawings???

thanks Tensai. All the poses were 10 minutes except the one with 2 figures. (the fat dude and the sword swallowing girl) That one was 20. The quicky line drawing of the girl swallowing the sword (i swear that's waht that is) was only about 30 seconds.

jealousy, envy - hate. I feel all this things. OK..not hate. But I was enjoying an extremely exciting retirement party, and had to wear a suit & tie. Boy...did YOU guys miss out. *insert weeping*
gonna be a crazy month or 2 (or 3) but I will try and get together for some sketchin soon. I miss my NYC sketchers. :(

stuff looks great guys...I'm glad everyone went and had a good time. Arkady...I know I say it everytime...but your life-drawings are just fantastic. I hear there is an Egon Schiele exhibit...we should go check out our man soon
