Dark Elf Female

Hi gang,

Here's a painting I did recently, 2 hours in Painter 7.

This is the first character tutorial in Don Seegmiller's book. Although I pretty much just used his sketch and ignored the tutorial, went to town painting and used a completely different color palette and grittier style. C&C welcome. Jpeg compression darkened it up a bit.

I love the lines....her neck and hair are very elegant. Very good brooding going on behind those eyes. Nice unique approach to the traditional dark elf renditions.

Ebon skin.....Ebon skin.....YES! Finally another artist who actually draws dark elfs with dark ashen or ebon skin!!!! *huggles* Good job, she looks almost serpant-like just how I imagined most of the dark elf females look. Very evil, poisonous even. Good job!
