Is anyone else experiencing a delay with their wacom tablet?
When I touch the pen down (from the "hovering mouse" position) and get ready to paint there is a slight (maybe half a second) delay between the movements of my hand and what happens on screen. Once the pen is touched down and painting in a continuous flow or scribble, there is no delay. If I pick up the pen and touch down again, I get the same delay.
This is driving me nuts!
I have messed with the preferences to no avail...
Any clues?

Hey perineum,
I had this problem too..Its really quite simple to fix, you need to plug your wacom into the computer itself, It sounds like your plugged into a hub, this will not work..It needs to be in a powered source. I hope this helps, if you are already doing this then Im not quite sure what it could be, maybe try and install the latest updated software from wacom themselves and go from there. And if that does'nt work then I would take it back, though I have never heard of anyone that has had a "real" prob with them.
Cool
Hope this will help

make sure your double click!! is disabled or timing to be very short so it won't confuse each touch to be a double click. I heard this fixes the odd pause. well if you haven't tried this.
