This is a sketch of my fiance. The actual drawing is much more defined then this scan is. Doesn't she look beautiful :D

that's a really nice sketch and yes she looks beautiful. It could use more values and contrast to help it read better. Maybe it's the scan, but the drawings too light. Her eyebrows seem awfully close to her eyes and her foreheads a lil long...sometimes u need to tweak things a bit to make it look right instead of drawing exactly what u see.

Alright, I am going to be the ass on this one, and contradict slowpoke. Theres things that need to be fixed here, that will make this a much stronger piece. First contrast. The scan is completely washed out, and things need to be adjusted. This can easily be done in photoshop using the levels tool. If you open the levels menu, you can adjust the sliders to increase or decrease contrast more effectively then using the contrast/brighten tool. Second, some of the anatomy is off. If you are going for a comic book feel, it is pointing in the right direction. Look at her jawline, cheek bones, and mouth. This area is what needs a little work. The jawline is a little hard for a womens, and needs to be smoothed a bit, girls are all about curves (unless shes a body builder). Same applies to the cheek bones, and the areas under the eyes. Last would be the mouth/lips. Again they work if you are going for a comic book style, but they are a little too big for her head, bring them down in size a bit and they will work great. Other then that keep it up, I think the big thing hindering this piece is again the scan quality, but thats easily fixed. cheers mate!
EDIT: One thing I agree with slowpoke on is the forehead, it is too long, the head can be broken down into thirds. the first being the distance from the hairline to the brow, the second being the brow to the bottom of the nose, and the third being the bottom of the nose to the bottom of the chin. These divisions should all be relatively equal, you can exaggerate some but they are always pretty close.
