i got off my ass and made yall a movie of this portrait,

its about 2 seconds long and 2 megs, put it on loop and let the majic begin,

i will try to do more of these in the future, they are a little tricky to make.let me know if its worth it or not.

here is the image (quick and simple)

and here is the link to the movie,

it gives a bretty basic idea of an average process step by step, i tried to focus on form and value with a little texture at the end, enjoy
:D

There's an option in painter to output your script as a movie

for movies, you can also ask the guys round here (davi...) for opencanvas. it'll export movie files, too but at a very small file size.

that means... if you can keep up yer magic without painter's brush engine ;)

damn...thats a great idea. thanks man...this is a great resource.

Also, do you do anymore non work related concepts? You should post some of those if you get the chance. All the ones ive seen have been very cool and imaginative.

A movie? Why not just post the OpenCanvas event file? ;)

More people should use OC, imo... (and make them put networking back into 2.x).

opencanvas is extermely limited in it's options. Android could do marvels in it, but he would be limited in so many ways i fear he would flip out and stab people and eat the inside of their skulls.

still, i didn't find that little pressure<->opacity adjustment curve in either painter 6.1 and photoshop 7. once you get used to adjust subtleties like that...
