Hi! This is my first illustration post here. Here's some painter practice stuff I did after hours. Not quite as cool as my buddy Khang's work, but I thought I'd share, since they weren't being used for anything. Later!

Very nice! I really like the last one with the sad robots, they look like they are pouting :P

Fantastic environments! My favourite is definetely the first. You almost wish you were inside that "zeppelin". The lighting is really cool on that one. Khang Le inspired?

Veeeery niice!!!
Interesting perspective on the 2. one.
The 3. one has a very nice mood to it... H.C. Andersen - fairytaleish - meets robots :D very interesting...is there a story to it?

your colors are very dynamic, excellent mood created in them.

that third piece is very cool, I like the idea of the mech being stored and brought out in that pose. Most of the time robots are standing like Gundam and Eva.

I think this piece would be one to tighten up and explore further, Also i would suggest getting rid of the wall on the left and showing one more door to the hanger and more buildings above it that way it would off set things rather than being too exact on both sides.

the first one is quite nice too.

What's up Kazu. You should post your process. People would be totally amazed what those drawings looked like before you added color.

Hey there, Rad! Actually, the process on these three images would be pretty lame. It will make these people think I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, which is pretty much the truth anyway. :) You're probably thinking about the canal images. I guess I can post those, too.

Chad - I see what you're saying about offsetting the composition, but removing the bridge on the left would probably make it too heavy to the right. I could, however, remove the bridge on the right and add more buildings there. (though I feel the right bridge is better drawn) It might feel a little more balanced that way, since that robot is so big (and proportionately too big, I notice). Thanks for the crits, though!

Andreas - It is absolutely Khang's fault that I do these paintings when I should be spending time working.

Thanks for the comments, guys!
