Hey, everybody. This is sort of an odd question, but it's one that I ask myself all of the time. How on earth do you all find the time to draw so much? I love to draw and I wish I could draw more, but with a fulltime job and freelance work there's just no time. The only time I do have I would like to spend outside my apartment or seeing friends.

Again, weird question, but who knows, someone might enlighten me! :-D

I have no friends and never leave my room - hence, I draw all the time. Might want to lose that job there thingy too. :P

i only sleep about 3 or 4 hours a night...i get plenty of time to draw. plus i am an art student...that helps but i always draw even when i am chillin with my friends...i always carry around a mini sketch pad just incase somthing pops up. im not that good but i want to get a hell of alot better so i practice all the freggin time. speaking of which i need to go draw now...later

I probably dont draw as much as I should,..i just hate sitting still for long periods...that's why I surf and go to the beach as much as possible. Besides I draw enough at work.

Hey you know what I noticed? We need a smiley guy that is doing art!!!!! Who makes those things??

Hi dajovion,
here are some sugestions I found very usefull to get more time to draw..

If you have friends, be rude! you'll loose'em pretty fast, and allready there you save time! 1 1/2, 2 hours a day...

Don't shower or shave in the morning, you don't need it if you are drawing at home all day! 20/30 minutes...

Don't spend time cooking or eating. Just melt a mars bar into hot milk, and poor cereals and nescafe in! Drink while drawing... you get calcium, sugar, caffein all in one, you save 1 hour if you are cooking yourself, 30 minutes if you eat out...

If you have a girlfriend, and she is still around, make her clean up the mess you live behind you. 30 min...

Last but not least: DON'T watch TV, 1 to 3 hours a day...
this one is probably the most important one, the only execption is shark week on Discovery!

if you follow this guidelines you can easy shave at least 5 hours off for drawing every day, probably more!

He I'm going to school from 7h AM to 2h/3h PM.
I shower everyday and I like to eat relaxed and long.

But, the best thing if you have few time to draw:
Join the DSG!

1 and a half hour of drawing everyday is better than nothing.

unplug your tv and your video game console, and remove the plug from your modem/network card...that should free up some time. wish i could follow my own advice

shave some hours off your sleep schedule. and then every 3 or 4 days...get a normal night of sleep.

I don't watch tv, and I'm posting from 5th period right now. My teachers wont -let- me draw. And when I get home I have homework. I draw late at night or on weekends, and I draw all summer. I only get 4-5 hours in a day, but it's better than nothing. X.x And when I'm on the computer, I sketch with my Wacom while I wait for random IMs x.x
