oh man, i wish i could afford to get some lush pantone pens to play with, i love em, I only have two cool grey ones that i make do with, they cost £5 each here in london....
They are great for shading and getting different hues and tones but they are just so darn expensive!! :(
DavidCousens
April 7th, 2004, 02:21 PM
Hey Chermilla, as long as you have access to a visa/mastercard order from this place:
http://www.jerrysartarama.com/discount-art-supplies/online/681/art-supplies/4
With the dollar being SO weak against the pound right now, AND considering American prices are so much more reasonable to begin with, you're pretty much paying a quarter of the price for everything. I've just ordered the 144 set of markers because of this!
Sorry to interrupt such a great thread ruby! :)

As everyone says it's too long to wait, and lo' these are kind of hard to see, but still incredible. Your control is amazing, at one point (long ago)i was looking at your sketches and thinking how does she go straight to outlines? but i really like seeing this rough experimenting, which is still very crisp and elegant, alot like artkitty but also different in alot of ways.

Your line treatment is awesome
some part straight some part crunchy
some part flowing
amazing perpendicular contrasts in armour
i like the detailed extremities against
the "plain " big areas, all are great
but my favorite is the right rider from side
the leg detail is sooo cool
amazing helmet development and very
good creative detail , the animals are
demonic or something cause that eye
treatment is spooky, i would recommend
to you to see Akihiro Yamada lady of Pharis
that manga i can assure you are gonna love it

Hi rubygenesis,
these are some cool and beautiful animals. :)
May i ask you or someone else what "rubbing alcohol" is? I tried normal alcohol on some of my ballpoint sketches, but it doesn't work.
thanx, kleiner.

Kleiner,
Rubbing alcohol is also known as isopropyl alcohol - you can find it at a drug store or pharmacy.
Or you can use beer.
HAHA! Just kidding. The beer should be administered internally.
