View Full Version : Looking for cyberpunk/industrial game concepts

Hi all, I'm a member (3d artist) of the team working on Into Cerberon. It's a total conversion based on the famous Doom3 engine and aimed to bring new life to the 6-degrees-of-freedom "tunnel shooters" like that masterpiece called Descent.
The project already started on all fronts: coding,modelling,texturing and musics.
What we're really in need are good concepts for levels, weapons and environments.
In a few words, this game has a kind of techno-horror atmosphere featuring crazy enraged mining robots, and the locations must be designed keeping in mind the unusual capabiliy of zero-grav playing techniques.
Locations are mines, or anyway underground complexes, placed on various planets spread on galaxies of our universe. A great dark mood, most pointed on intricate twisty tunnels, large hallways and a general sense of freedom mixed to claustrophoby because you can fly in any direction but into braintwisting tunnels wich hide raw but incredibly smart robots behind every corner. I don't know, it could seem hilarious or badly explained, but I ensure you it's a really cool and original idea.

Rewards are obviously excluded due to the nature of the project.
We're well organized and really decided to do this, so this project will surely not have a dead end (sice it's going to be the best mod ever for this game, or all games, and A LOT of people have or will have eyes sticked on it)
