We are looking for Moderators to help with posting structure and ready the new community sister site to conceptart.org before we open the floodgates. It is focused on education and resources for those interested in making video games. It will become a major industry teaching and learning site just like this one.

if anyone is interested in helping us with the foundation to the new community, please let me know.

I would love to help. That is if I haven't been branded an Eternal Scourge.

I've learned much in the Work Place since I have left art college and would love to share whatever I can.

I guess I could help out a bit if you want. I already moderate over at the Polycount forums, and I think I'm fairly knowledgeable about games development in general.

Never been a mod. Not a good artist.. But I have dabbled in coding games in 3d and 2d (OpenGL and SDL). I'd be happy to help. I have lots of free time.

Is there a programming head/position or something? I am a Computer Science major and have a varied and massive programming portfolio spanning multiple languages.

I moderate an art and VG forum on another site... but I'd love to give that up in lieu of a Massive Black site. Just tell me where to sign!

I have plenty free time to take something new on, so if you're still looking for people I'd be happy to help in any way I can, either here on CA or on the new forum. I'd probably clean your bathroom too if you asked me. :)

if anyone else wants to help set this up with me, I would appreciate it. We are setting up the quality threads to set an example of how the place works...it is taking some building. I want to make sure that quality is numero uno. Thanks to everyone for their assistance so far. It is coming along well.

Hey guys. I'd like to have more info too Jason. I don't know about creds but I'm also in the industry and teach and stuff. Oh and I've been around here for ages. This might prod me out of this torpor and share what the heck is going on on the art side of things at a first party dev with colleagues and aspiring artists willing to join.

we are holding off releasing the link until we have the database tied together with ca. my fear is transferring so many threads should we have to move them to the new database...so for now we wait while programmers do their wonderful duty.

Will this game design forum be seperate from conceptart?
Or will the uder satabase be the same or is it just another "part/section" of conceptart?
Why does it need to be tied together with Conceptart?
Is there some partthat is shared by both forums/sites?
