Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting here. I am not sure if Eric has or not, however, both of us have been lurking the boards here since time began and feel now is as good of time as any to start off right. We will be posting sketches or drawings on a day-to-day basis in order to maintain a good drawing habit outside of work everyday not to mention doing someting fun. Please join in on the crits as we wish to increase our skills. So, without further or do... here is my sketch for today. :bashful:

Here's my first shot, I'm going to try to do this every day with the only rule being do something I like. Since my career has generally been about doing what other people need, this should be a lot of fun!

Two drawings this morning- a sketch of my son and pinup I'm doing for a jacket, the latter I'll continue working on until I get it right. People are one subject I'll definitely work on in my sketchbook. Thanks for looking!

Hey, ebrowning. Wonderful book. It's pleasure to observe your work. Wish it would be like 6-7 pages. Humor, colors, lines, themes are great. I took the boy portrait, hope you don't mind. Post more

Sorry for not replying to your comments. They are much appreciated, we both have very little time and I personally slacked. So, without further or do...
[Mr.Point] - Thx for the encouraging words... I do agree with the weapons part... I want to eventually clean this character up and define his weapons a bit more for the future.
[sone one] - I am familiar with Hawkpres work for sure. Glad to be somewhat compared to that art machine.
[vigostar] - Our focus is to post as much as physically possible within our tight schedules. I personally am doing this so I can force myself to do what I love to no matter what gets thrown in the way as far as time is concerned.
[Sedig] - I can only speak for myself but I have been drawing from life for way to long to make that the focus of my drawing in this sketchbook. It has been a while since I have drawn everyday and am trying to tackle that commitment and gaining back the good practices or my prior years first. Using life as reference is a given though, so I appreciate your suggestion.
[dCept] - Please do check back... hopefully we will have a great sketch thread here as time progresses. Thx for the encouragement.
[aesir] - It makes me excited when people enjoy my work. Glad you like the thread. (And, yes, Eric is awesome too :P)
[Art Addict] - Yup, as Eric said, we are both in the games industry. Thx for checking our thread out.
[Tigermilk] - Thx for the great comment. I am very excited that I could inspire anyone at all. :P ... And, yes, get a wacom ... but when you get it use it... a lot of people think it is something that will alleviate all the hard work but in the end it takes a lot of getting used to and a lot of messed up work until you get the tool... then it is smooth sailing from there on out.
[vigostar] - Yup, the precious moments style definitley is Erics greats. I love this stuff too. Makes me get all gitty inside every time I look at them. lol Thx for the positive feedback to the thread.
[GunTrouver] - Thx for comming in and checking out our thread. And, yes, I love the "springpicture" too. Great job Eric.
Please do comment and crit. Thx for stoping by.
