What a coincidence! I was about to post my Batman sketch and I noticed Bennihana had one already (nice pic btw).
After seeing some comics of Batman by Jim Lee I decided I should draw Batman.
I was gonna color this, but....you know... it's sketch, or somethin'.
C&C welcome.

hahahahaha
That rocks my man. I am hugely(sp) inspired by Jim Lee's art too. I like the attitude of the piece man.
One thing though, the pose kinda looks like it might hurt, especially in the hand. The face rules. Awesome expression. The legs seem a wee bit small though. And lastly, the bat on the chest looks too flat for the musculature. Just a few things to consider.
that is really cool. When it comes to poses and Bats, I always try to consider him being really loose like the Fonze from happy days. Imposing, yet still really calm. For really cool poses, I would say to check out covers to scifi novels. Those always have some really cool poses, that or movie posters and covers.
Peace and Keep on Keepin on.

*not meant as a bump* :p
Thanks for the comments. You are right about all the things you pointed out. I should of noticed them while drawing it! The one thing I did have problems for some reason, was that damn bat sign, I decided to leave it as is. Maybe I'll do another Batman piece.

Hi BlkCelebration,
when I look at your batman I don't think at all at Jim lee, but more about Miller's Dark Knight (the real deal!) I think the mouth is a bit to wide, if it was narrower it would look more realistic.

I wouldn't say it looks like Miller's batman. I would classify this as a Ted McKeever Batman. Much more his style.

Thanks for the comments. I guess I was inspired to draw Batman more than by Jim Lee's style. I haven't heard of McKeever or Miller (shame on me), so I'll definitely check them out.
