Very nice, quite delicate and careful with the lines. Are you mainly interested in plant life and organic stuff? It's great that you started a sketchbook (Took the plunge) I hope you will keep on posting more. I for one do not know much about plants and such drawing-wise so I can't crit you. :)

Till another post...

Azeira: Thanks
LeajyneHH: I am also interested in people but aren't much good at drawing them yet. I picked up copies of Andrew Loomis; Drawing the Head and Hands and Figure Drawing for All its Worth so hopefully I will learn alot from those.
That fat kid: Thanks
Placeboast: Hope to post coloured stuff soon.

Took a photo instead of scanning sketch but it turned out a little dark. Adjusting it, it still looked wrong so I left it as it was. Done from magazine reference.

Ah - the Loomis head drawing method - It's brilliant, isn't it!

The organic stuff is great.

Keep it going!

I fell off the drawing wagon for quite a while until I went into Donut King the other day. A girl that works there had her paintings displayed on the walls for sale (at quite high prices) and they were good but not great.... and I thought to myself I can do that, even better than her. Which brings me back here :teeth:

I didn't like the paper I was using as it was hard to shade smoothly and was smudgy.
