Theres lots of different things going on around here.. so what's your favourite part of ConceptArt? What keeps you coming back?

Personally I think the Daily Sketch Group is a great idea; theres something stimulating about drawing off a random topic

Mu sketchbook is the main reason. It keeps me drawing, and I'm always trying to find things to post. I just need more people to post their comments!

I like the lounge, too. It's a good way to blow off some steam, here other view points, and just have fun.

I found out about this site when searching for reference photos back in April. I only found out that I could join recently. But it was the references that brought me here first.

What about the rest of you?

It drains my time...

I collect artwork for inspiration;digital or traditional....so this is where I start. It leads me to a million other websites - so its a good "terminal" I guess...

also the tutorials are great

and the feedback I will hopefully get when I start posting

mostly the fact that there are actual profesionals here you can approach for advice. And as your skills build you have a decent community network allready.

Doh! I wrote something stupid...

Basically, I'm just trying to gage what is required. This seems to be the place to do it. Very few places seem to offer passion and rational behavior for a subject matter such as concept art......OK, that was good back peddling.

SWIPS. I LOVE seeing how people work. And I love getting crits from the pros. I don't think I would be progressing at all if not for the help of some very friendly people on here.

well shit...lately I've been learning about the shady business practices of some of these clients...

But seriously, CA is pure unfiltered, concentrated inspiration.

It's the thoughtfulness; CA walks my dog when I'm too hung over, it reminds me to pick up remoulade sauce at the market, tells me when I look fat in those pants, and calls my mom when she's not feeling well. CA does so much for so many, I wish I knew CA when I was looking for a prom date...

What I like most is the sketchbook-section. Itīs very inspiring to see all this potential and dedication to draw.
Sometimes I surf around in the finally finished section. I donīt think that Iīll ever post something there, because Iīm never happy with my pics :)

But maybe we shouldnīt only ask, what CA can make for us, but what we can make for CA

For my part: Iīd love to give more crits/coments, but in most cases there is nothing I could add except for what has already been said. And sometimes I feel like posting suggestions which are abvious and donīt help at all. (Most of the time I draw a pic just the way I "feel" that it looks right "right". And it is hard to explain somebody else what it makes look "right")
