I woke up today and suddenly nothing hosted on Photobucket is working for me. I've tried 3 different computers in my house, and non seem to work. I've spoken with others, and they don't seem to be having the same problem...so what the hell is going on? Anyone else having a similar problem or has my modem mysteriously decided to block photobucket today? I've tried going to the photobucket home page and it just times out and tells me the server can't be found.

I thnk they must be having DNS issues. People keep posting threads about it being down, but I haven't had any problems all day.

Oops, sorry....I looked around for existing threads on the topic, but didn't see any so I thought maybe my modem just had a demon in it. Sorry for the repetition. And yeah, everyone else I've spoken to seems to be having no issues whatsoever, but for some reason my computer acts as if the server isn't even there. I can't even email them to complain because I can't access the site. Hopefully they fix it real soon.

You're not alone, and I'm glad I'm not either...

For anyone choosing to finallly stop using botophucket, Re-read the "how to post pictures" thread in CC. I put a list of 70 free image hosting sites at the top of the thread. They are ranked by users and there are about a half dozen better than this insanity...

Problem is, I've been very happy with Photobucket up to this point. I actually pay for a premium account or whatever they call it so that I can post as much as I want with unlimited bandwith. I use it to host images for my website as well and I've been very happy with its reliability and swift loading time. This is pretty much unacceptable however. I still can't access the site, and I still don't understand why. Why does it only affect some of us? I can feel the steam gradually seeping from my ears.
