As the ever-lovely Shingo Mama says, "Oha!"
My name is Maxine, I'm seventeen years old, and a senior in high school. I feel old.
I love chocolate, Roald Dahl's books, and "dirty pillows".
I also enjoy making art, when I'm not being whiny or lazy as sin. And art college is too expensive! </end rant>
I'll spruce this up when I'm not lazy and sugar-deprived.
Random blurry sketches, post-Alice in Wonderland/ Harry Potter/ Grendel binge.

A tiny, chalk pear. I thought it was cute!

Harpy Me, other things, and a henna design.

I... don't know...

More for the sake of having more! It's the American way!
Octopus grandma-thing. Based on something I can't remember, which is helpful.

Tattoo design.

For a friend's viola recital. Someone got a tattoo of it... without permission.

Digital piece done with a mouse and will never be finished!

...and btw, what the hell is a 'dirty pillow'?
Someone hasn't been watching their "Carrie"...
:confident But thank you for my first comment! I don't have many finished pieces only because I recently cast off my anime-skin, and I'd rather not show any of those every again. Plus, any finished pieces I do look like crap to me a few days later. I'll put some in once I have some spare time on my hands, though!

I never post on here! Perhaps because... I never draw anymore. 'Cause I'm a lazy bastard.
I like pumpkins. I love Halloween. I don't really love oil pastels that much.

Face from a book.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y265/bassole/art/scan0013.jpg
Random bee-lady, very blurry. And two robots that I was going to do in scratchboard, but it didn't turn out lovely.

Doodles from "The Glass Elevator". The Wonka books are my AP Studio Art concentration, so I figured I should start sketching out what I want Willy to look like.

This was the second stage of my picture for my Gaia Online signature. My screen name is "Der Nixe" on there, if you'd like to say hello!

:star: Thank you very much!
I love that song, too! What a coincidence. Too bad it's too elaborate of a design to get inked. I think those wings would make someone pass out, since the needle work would take forever and be tremendously painful.

Itty-bitty update of nothing good! Yay!
Commission on Gaia, of someone else's character:

Inked copy:

Doodle of personal characters, though I erased some for kicks. They're assassin partners, the usual:

I haven't updated in fooooeeevvaaah. What a horrible loss for the art society.
Lumpy head charcoal old guy! My teacher told me to find a real old person to draw from but... wtf, not like I have them on tap in the basement or anything.

First oil pastel picture!

Ink and Prismacolor marker still life.

Ink drawing of robots inspired by a dancing game song... "Rom30&Juli-8". Yeah, I'm a dork.

Doodle of beat up violas and a horn thing. The flash on the camera went off, blanched it...

Roleplay charaaaacter! I know I'm too old to RP... don't remind me. :/ He's an inventor/medium in a futuristic Victorian-era, type... deal. Futuristic Victorian? Oxymoron much? I think I shall name him Henry.
